Education is a learning in the form of knowledge, skills carried out in schools and the environment around. However, the quality of education in Indonesia is currently of concern. The causes of the low quality of education in Indonesia include the first, the problem of the effectiveness of education because there is no clear educational purpose before learning activities are carried out. Second, teaching efficiency because of the high cost of education, the time spent in the education process, and the quality of teachers. And third, standardization of education. The other problems that are specific to the world of education include low physical facilities, low quality of teachers, low teacher welfare, low student achievement, low opportunities for educational equity, low relevance of education to the needs, and high cost of education. Therefore, these problems must be addressed by the education system in Indonesia, namely in the first way, systemic solutions, namely solutions to changing social systems related to the education system that are applied in the context of the economic system of capitalism which principally minimizes the role and responsibility of the state in public affairs including education funding. And second, technical solutions, namely solutions involving technical matters that are directly related to education, for example to solve teacher quality problems and student achievement.
